Sassy Backfield in Motion Heating Instructions
Stovetop: Empty chili container into saucepan. On low heat, slowly simmer until hot. Stir frequently. Let stand for 1minute before serving.
Microwave: Empty chili container into microwave safe bowl. Heat on medium for 2-4 minutes or until hot, stirring once midway through heating cycle. Let chili stand in microwave for 1 minute and stir before serving. Use caution when heating in microwave as contents are hot.
Favorite Game Changers!
Once chili is heated carefully, add these favorite game-changers:
- Sour Cream
- Shredded cheese
- Diced Onions
- Diced hot or mild Jalapeno Peppers
Sassy’s Ultimate Halftime Nacho’s
What You Need
1 (16 oz) container of Sassy Backfield in Motion Chili
1 (12 oz) package corn tortilla chips, or as needed
1 Cup of your favorite shredded cheese
1 Large onion, chopped
1 Cup of lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
1 Tbs Sour Cream
Make It!
PRE-HEAT oven to 350ºF.
Get stovetop saucepan and empty chili into saucepan. On low heat, slowly simmer chili until hot. Stir frequently.
While chili is slowly simmering, arrange corn tortilla chips on a cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Spread chips evenly around the cookie sheet.
Add cheese on top of chips and place into pre-heated oven. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until cheese is melted. Remove from oven. With specula, carefully remove nachos from cookie sheet onto plate (do not use paper or plastic plates).
One nachos are plated, carefully remove chili from stovetop and pour over nachos. Add cut up onion, lettuce, and sour cream on top.
You may need a fork – there is nothing clean about this recipe!! Tailgaters be warned!
